It rained Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.
No one got Saturday’s mail until 2:00 p.m. Sunday. :(
3 packages sat on my porch all day through the rain!
Luckily nothing was damaged by the rain. My postal delivery person is lucky. That is all.
Among the three packages was my Secret Santa gift that was hosted by The Neverending Shelf.

So, thank you Secret Santa!!! I’ve been wanting both of these books.
I would have loved to have put these gifts under my tree to open Christmas Day. Yes, I would have been able to wait ‘til then, but they weren’t wrapped. :( And the box was soaking wet and didn’t indicate it was from the Secret Santa. :( Just a note for next years Secret Santa participants!
I hope everyone that participated got something they really wanted! It was a pleasure to share the joy of gift giving!

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it worked out OK. We were suppose to get a last minute package Thursday, guaranteed delivery, and it never came. When we tracked it online it said it was on a truck nearby ready to be delivered that morning. My kids are old enough to understand and were very good sports about it but I will be calling to see if I can find out what happened. So frustrating but hardly the end of the world.
