Lisa Mantchev has released the ARC version of the cover art for book two of her Theatre Illuminata series, Perchance to Dream.

I like it but I don’t think it’s as great as Eyes Like Stars. Where’s Bertie’s blue hair?! I like her blue hair.
ETA: Lisa let me know: “And Bertie dyed her hair at the end of Book 1, remember? Raven Wing Black with purple on the ends... the purple should show up better in a high res file, hopefully forthcoming soon.” So, that answers that question! I did forget. I read this a while ago. :(

I'm a little disappointed. I luvd the look of Eyes Like Stars. The new one is to noisy, to much going on. I like how Bertie was the focus of the last book cover, it was simpler on the eyes and gorgeous. Where is Bertie's blue hair? I luv her blue hair!

ReplyDeleteI like it, but not as much as the first one. I really want to look at a close up of Nate in the background there... he looks kind of scary, and I want to know if that's just me or not.
