Cover Art: The Ghost and the Goth by Stacey Kade

I just had to share this cover because I find it so awesome! It’s too cute for words and I want to read it and I hadn’t even heard about it until today, upon seeing the cover.

Stacey unveiled her cover over at the Tenner’s blog! Go tell how much you love it too!

Ghost and Goth

The Ghost and the Goth by Stacey Kade

After a close encounter with a bus, Alona Dare goes from homecoming queen to Queen of the Dead. She’s stuck as a ghost in the land of the living with no sign of a “big, bright light” to take her to a better place. To make matters worse, the only person who might be able to help her is Will Killian, a total loser. More than anything, Will wishes he didn’t have the rare ability to communicate with the dead, especially the former mean girl of Groundsboro High. He’s not filling out any volunteer forms to help her cross to the other side, though it would bring him some welcome peace and quiet. Can they get over their mutual distrust—and quasi attraction—to work together? Readers of this spirited paranormal comedy won’t want this odd couple ever to part.

Stacey is one lucky author to get such a cute, fun, and awesome looking cover! I could totally see this cover going dark and a dark cover probably wouldn’t catch my eye quite as well as this one did.

The Ghost and the Goth will release July 6, 2010.

  1. This cover is made of awesome!!! I love it

  2. Oh man! Jess, what a cool cover. It got me to dreaming about what my cover will look like. But first things first. Gotta snatch an agent and then an editor. Oh that to do list. =)

And book covers really do play a part in helping me to decide which books I will buy. =)

  3. Love the cover! Can't wait to read it!

  4. This is a cute cover, it also reminds me of Daniel Waters' Generation Dead cover. May have to pick this one up. I'm all for some humor. Thanks.
