Books I’ve Pre-ordered

I follow a lot of series so I usually pre-order those next in the series to ensure I get them as soon as they are released. But sometimes I forget. Here are the books I have on pre-order as of today!

Drink Deep releases November 1. I hope to be participating in the Blog Tour, just waiting for a confirmation on a date! I just let my sister borrow this series! We'll both be anxiously waiting for this book!

Reckoning (Strange Angels, # 5) also releases November 1. I recently shared this series with my sister and she loves it just as much as I do!

Crossed, oh how I love this series! Matched was one of my most favorite reads last year. Crossed is also releasing on Novemer 1. Man, I'm going to have a hard time deciding which November 1 release I'm going to read first! It'll have to be one of the first two so that I can pass it along to my sister. This one will be passed on to my mother-in-law, aunt, and cousin and her daughter!

I've been reading so many awesome reviews of this book that I decided to pre-order the paperback edition that features the new improved cover that matches the upcoming release of Prized (Birthmarked, #2), which releases November 8th but I have a review copy waiting for me from NetGalley.

I'm a John Green fan. I haven't read all of this books yet but I just know I'll love them so I'm kinda saving them for a rainy day. This book is special because if you pre-order it from Amazon.com you will receive a first edition SIGNED copy but this is only good for pre-orders and is not guaranteed after the on-sale date, which is January 10, 2012.

There are quite a few other books I'd love to pre-order but I must feed my pre-existing conditions first. :)

I Heart Heartsy!

I know I just shared Heartsy the other day but I can’t not share the shop that’s up for grabs tomorrow.

Solocosmo is a brilliant artist. Her designs are stunning and I can’t wait to receive the prints I ordered today. I plan to frame then and hang them in my kids rooms. Most of them are for my son’s room.

Heartsy features 4 new Etsy shops each day. You have the opportunity to purchase store credit to use within 3 months of your purchase date.

Membership is free, however, there is a VIP option for $10 a month you get $10 MORE store credit than a non VIP member. Plus you get to access the next day deals one day before all regular members. As well as access to VIP only shops.

So, it works like this for the Solocosmo shop tomorrow:

For $16 you receive $40 of store credit. VIPs receive $50.

It’s a great deal and the VIP membership pays for itself right there in that first transaction! I just signed up for the VIP today because I HAD to get these prints! There was only 1 available so I wanted to be sure I got them. I didn’t want to wait until tomorrow and risk not getting them.

Here are the ones I purchased. All in the mini size except the boy with the frog is 8.5 x 11 and the mermaid is 5 x 7.

Tell me these aren’t beautiful!? I can’t wait to see what else she makes.

I totally want: Futura Entertainment Center

So I've had my eye on this piece of furniture for a few months now. I soooo really really want it. It's just so expensive!
But it's just gorgeous!

Right now we have our 42" plasma mounted directly on the wall. We then have a 4' tall media cabinet that holds our surround sound/DVD player, our satellite receiver, and our Xbox 360, misc. games and movies and of course the accessories for our Xbox and our Wii. Frankly, I just don't like it when I look at this elegant looking piece.

I'm hoping that it will eventually go on a major sale or clearance. Then maybe I can justify buying it. I'd buy it if the price was $400 or below. Right now it's at $589 and that just seems outrageous to me!

Eurway is a great place for beautiful, expensive (usually) furniture. I bought some chairs and tables from them for NBN's BEA booth this year....and alas, I will not be there to see how good they look. Hopefully they'll post some pictures.

Mana Potion!

I'm so ordering some of these. They are just too cool for school.

Patrick, Kevin, and I have started playing WoW again. We plan to have a marathon this weekend. These will help!

REVIEW:
I purchased a 6 pack of these from ThinkGeek.com. They arrived soiled. Well, they leaked causing quite the mess and at least one bottle was nearly empty and another was half empty. I did contact ThinkGeek.com and they gave me a partial refund ($10 of the $20 so I was happy).
The taste wasn't all that great. Since it's a low amount of fluid it was syrupy and tart. Not terrible but I'm glad it was any bigger. The effect of the drink was good. It did make me more alert, not hyper or shaky in the least. I wouldn't say it lasted 24 hours but it did last most of the day, and we drank it around 11am or so.

Well, I've finally found a bag for my laptop, which measures:
16.17" x 12.43" x 1.84"
which, is not easy to find a laptop bag to fit that.
And the price is just awesome!
No wonder I love Old Navy.
